The Faculty of Communication Studies at Mount Royal University is focused on providing students with a comprehensive curriculum that meets the needs of the communications industry.

Broadcasting

With a campus radio station and involvement in community projects, broadcasting students gain the skills and contacts needed to jump-start their broadcasting careers.

Information Design

Information Design students learn to translate complicated information into simple terms. We are in the process of building a pool of materials for this showcase, as this is a new four-year bachelor degree.

Journalism

With a community newspaper, a television newscast and a web-based forum to explore issues in technology, journalism students are well prepared for the demands of this challenging profession.

Public Relations

Public relations students work on a number of collaborative projects, preparing them for the relationship-focused environment that is so key to the profession.
